Compensation: $23.00-$25.00 Hourly
Job Responsibilities:
Manage all leave of absence requests, including FMLA, state and federal leaves, medical leaves, and company-specific leave policies. Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Maintain accurate records of leave requests, approvals, denials, certifications, and correspondence in compliance with federal, state, and company retention policies.
Serve as the primary point of contact for employees regarding leave policies, eligibility, procedures, and status updates.
Monitor and ensure compliance with FMLA, ADA, HIPAA, and state leave laws. Provide guidance on complex leave scenarios.
Collaborate with HR, payroll, and department managers to coordinate leave schedules, ensure proper documentation, and manage return-to-work processes.
Track employee leave balances, durations, and utilization rates. Generate reports on leave trends, compliance, and potential risks.
Assist in updating leave policies as needed and provide training for HR staff and managers on leave procedures and compliance requirements.
Coordinate reasonable accommodations under ADA when medical leaves transition into long-term or ongoing accommodations.
Manage relationships with external leave administration vendors (if applicable) to ensure timely and accurate processing of leaves.
Address employee concerns related to leaves and provide resolutions while maintaining compliance and confidentiality.\
Qualifications/Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. Equivalent experience may be considered.
Experience 1-2 years of experience managing FMLA, ADA, and other leave programs in a corporate or HR setting.
Strong understanding of FMLA, ADA, HIPAA, and applicable state leave laws.
