Compensation: $60,000-$67,000 annually
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Conducts weekly meetings with leaders from respective business units to build and maintain rapport with said leaders.
- Consults with business leaders (General Managers, Supervisors, Directors, etc.) providing HR guidance when appropriate.
- Analyzes trends and data in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs, and policies.
- Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough, and objective investigations.
- Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with Chief HR Officer as needed/required.
- Assists and leads audits into data in HRIS platform and employee files to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately.
- Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
- Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
- Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation.
- Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, and work assessments. This may include safety training, anti-harassment training, professional licensure, and aptitude exams and certifications.
- Participates in evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success. Follows up to ensure training objectives are met.
- Responsible for filing, documenting, and investigating Worker’s claims.
- Participates in the interactive process of FMLA, LOA and ADA policies and procedures with employees.
- Identifies training needs for business units and individual coaching needs.
- Conducts or acquires background checks and employee eligibility verifications.
- May assist with payroll functions including answering employee questions and collaborating with payroll to investigate errors
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (advanced Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and able to master HRIS systems efficiently.
Education and Experience:
- At least 3 years of progressive Human Resources experience
- Experience with managing and resolving complex employee relations issues.
- Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including employment practices, employee relations, performance management, and federal and state- respective employment laws.
- General understanding of benefits plans, such as ACA, COBRA, and ERISA compliance.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
